Pokhara Sarangkot Paragliding

Experience the thrill of flying in Pokhara, Nepal’s paragliding paradise. With its blend of serene lakes, lush hills, and snowy mountains, Pokhara offers the perfect setting for an unforgettable paragliding adventure. Sarangkot, just a short drive from Lakeside Pokhara, stands at 1,600 meters and is the top launch site in the region.

From this hilltop, you’ll glide above the stunning Pokhara Valley. The panoramic views of Annapurna, Machhapuchhre (Fishtail), Dhaulagiri, and Phewa Lake will leave you breathless.

Pokhara combines beautiful scenery with excellent flying conditions. Warm thermals, steady wind, and wide landing zones make it ideal for both beginners and experts. No matter how many times you fly, the experience always feels new and exciting.

Your adventure starts with a 30-minute drive from Pokhara to Sarangkot. There, a certified tandem pilot welcomes you and gives a quick safety briefing. After strapping on your harness and helmet, you take a few steps downhill—and suddenly, you’re flying.

Flights last 20 to 30 minutes, depending on the weather. You can choose a peaceful glide or ask your pilot for thrilling maneuvers. Either way, the views are unforgettable. You’ll soar over Phewa Lake, pass by hilltop villages and monasteries, and fly close to the mighty Himalayas.

GoPro cameras capture every moment. The photo and video package lets you relive the flight and share it with friends.
