Your adventure begins with an early morning scenic flight from Kathmandu to Lukla, offering stunning views of the Himalayas. After landing at Lukla’s famous airstrip, start your trek with an easy descent through pine forests and Sherpa villages along the Dudh Koshi River.

    • Trekking duration: 3–4 hours

    • Highlights: Local culture, riverside trails, Buddhist mani stones

    • Overnight: Tea house in Phakding

Today’s trail includes several suspension bridges, waterfalls, and pine-covered paths as you enter Sagarmatha National Park. After crossing the iconic Hillary Suspension Bridge, climb steadily toward Namche Bazaar, the gateway to Everest and the largest Sherpa town in the region.
