The journey begins in Lukla, a vibrant town known for its famous helicopter flights. From there, we trek through serene forests and pass by traditional Sherpa villages. As we move forward, the majestic peaks of Mount Everest, Lhotse, and Ama Dablam will gradually reveal themselves, offering unforgettable panoramas. These magnificent mountains will accompany you throughout the trek, further enhancing the experience.

The Everest View Trek is not just about nature; it’s also a cultural exploration. You’ll visit ancient Buddhist monasteries, including Tengboche Monastery, the highest in the region. Starting from Lukla, trekkers will journey through serene forests and traditional Sherpa villages, with spectacular views of the Himalayan giants along the way. Arrive in Kathmandu, Nepal’s bustling capital, where your adventure begins. Once you’ve landed and settled in, you’ll be greeted by our team who will guide you to your hotel. Take the rest of the day to relax and prepare for the trek ahead. If you arrive early, you can explore the local area or enjoy a leisurely stroll around Thamel, a vibrant part of the city, perfect for getting into the rhythm of Nepalese culture.
After breakfast, embark on a sightseeing tour of Kathmandu, where you’ll visit iconic landmarks such as Swayambhunath Stupa (Monkey Temple), Boudhanath Stupa, and Pashupatinath Temple. These sacred sites offer a glimpse into Nepal’s rich cultural and spiritual heritage. You’ll also meet your trekking crew and make final preparations for your trek, ensuring that everything is for your journey to the Himalayas.
This day marks the start of your trek. You’ll fly from Kathmandu to Lukla, a small mountain airport in the Khumbu region. The flight itself is a thrilling experience with panoramic views of the Himalayas. Once in Lukla, we begin our trek, making our way through scenic trails to Monjo, a peaceful village nestled amidst the forest. The walk will take around 4 to 5 hours, allowing you to gradually adjust to the altitude and get familiar with the beauty of the region.
Today, we head towards Namche Bazaar, the gateway to the Everest region. The trek is about 3 to 4 hours and will take you through dense forests of pine and rhododendron, offering glimpses of the surrounding peaks. As you approach Namche Bazaar, you’ll be treated to your first view of the towering peaks of Everest, Lhotse, and Ama Dablam. Namche Bazaar is a vibrant Sherpa town with shops, cafes, and guesthouses, and will be your home for the next few days.
To help your body adjust to the increasing altitude, we’ll spend the day in Namche Bazaar for acclimatization. You can rest, explore the town, or take a short hike to nearby viewpoints for stunning views of Mount Everest and the surrounding peaks. The rest day will also give you a chance to visit the Sherpa Museum and learn more about the culture and history of the region.
After a restful day, we continue our journey towards Tengboche, known for its magnificent monastery and views of Everest. The trek takes about 5 to 6 hours and passes through beautiful forests, with glimpses of the majestic peaks. Tengboche Monastery, located at an altitude of 3,873 meters, is the highest monastery in the region and a place of great spiritual significance for the Sherpa people. The panoramic views of Everest, Lhotse, and Ama Dablam from here are awe-inspiring.
After experiencing Tengboche, we begin our descent towards Phakding, located at 2,610 meters. This section of the trek will take around 4 to 5 hours, and along the way, we’ll pass through peaceful villages, cross suspension bridges, and enjoy the tranquility of the Himalayan landscape. Phakding is a charming village with several guesthouses where you can rest for the night.
On the final day of trekking, we make our way back to Lukla, where our trek began. The walk is about 3 to 4 hours, and as you descend, you’ll have time to reflect on the incredible journey you’ve had. Once in Lukla, you’ll have some time to relax and enjoy your last night in the mountains, celebrating the completion of your trek with your fellow trekkers.
Today, you’ll fly back from Lukla to Kathmandu. The return flight offers one last chance to admire the beauty of the mountains from the air. Once in Kathmandu, you’ll have free time to rest, shop, or explore more of the city before you prepare for your departure.
On the final day of your adventure, depending on your flight schedule, you’ll be transferred to the airport for your onward journey. If time allows, you can enjoy a final leisurely breakfast in Kathmandu before saying farewell to the magical mountains of Nepal.
