The next morning, a thrilling flight takes you to Lukla, the gateway to the Khumbu region. From Lukla, you’ll start your trek to Chutanga, a quiet spot surrounded by forested hills. The following day involves a challenging yet rewarding ascent to Thuli Kharka via Zatrawala Pass, offering your first panoramic views of the Himalayan peaks.
The trail then leads to Kothe along the picturesque Hinku Valley, following the Hinku River through dense forests and remote terrain. Continuing to Thangnak, you’ll start to witness dramatic landscapes shaped by glaciers, with striking views of Mera Peak accompanying you. A further ascent brings you to Khare, where you'll take an important acclimatization day to prepare for the higher elevations and more demanding terrain ahead.

After successfully crossing the pass, you continue into the Everest region, trekking to Chhukung and then to the scenic Tengboche, home to the iconic Tengboche Monastery.
