Details

Mera Peak (6,476m / 21,247 ft) is one of Nepal’s highest trekking peaks and a favorite among adventurers looking to take their first step into high-altitude mountaineering. Located in the remote and stunning Hinku Valley of the Everest region, the Mera Peak Expedition offers not just an exciting climb, but also an unforgettable Himalayan trekking experience rich in culture, scenery, and personal achievement.

This journey is ideal for those who are physically fit, mentally prepared, and ready to embrace a unique challenge that doesn't require advanced technical climbing skills. Although the route to the summit is non-technical by mountaineering standards, the high altitude, cold weather, and glacial terrain demand good endurance, preparation, and determination.

Your expedition begins with a scenic flight to Lukla, the gateway to the Khumbu region. From there, you’ll trek through less-traveled paths in rural Solu-Khumbu, passing picturesque villages like Chutanga, Thuli Kharka, Kothe, and Khare. This route provides gradual acclimatization, allowing your body to adjust to the altitude and increasing your chances of a successful summit.

As you ascend, you’ll witness a remarkable change in landscape—from lush forests and terraced fields to icy glaciers and rugged alpine terrain. The summit day is both challenging and exhilarating, with views that are simply unmatched. From the summit of Mera Peak, on a clear day, you can see five of the world’s 8,000-meter giants:
Mount Everest, Lhotse, Makalu, Cho Oyu, and Kanchenjunga — a view that few places on Earth can rival.

Along the way, you'll be supported by experienced Sherpa guides, skilled porters, and a dedicated logistics team who ensure your safety, comfort, and success.

At Great Vision Trek, we prioritize sustainable travel, safety, and responsible mountaineering. We adhere to eco-friendly practices, support local communities, and provide personalized care to each climber.
